Favorite item for predator hunting

Just curious what everyone's favorite item/item's are that they use predator hunting? If you have a few favorites list them. I know for myself it's hard to choose just one. Calls, rests, packs, weapon, etc. Heck maybe it's your vehicle.

Anvil-30. I use it during the day and night. Scouting with binos or spotter.

And a suppressor. My favorite is a TBAC Ultra 9. My predator rifles aren't setup for it though. So I use a CGS Hyperion mainly for predators. It's just so much nicer shooting suppressed.

Nimrod back scabbard, Outfoxed Whirling Woodpecker, little three leg stool and my van. Van is my home on wheels and gets me there and back.

The one thing I never leave home without are my shooting sticks. In fact they live in my truck. I made them about 15 years ago. Whether I’m hunting coyotes or big game they are the one thing I always take.

Other than the call & decoy, what ya see is what ya get. Depending upon game the rifle might change, but the call always in the truck nearby.

Thermal and suppressor.

I’m a gear nut, I love trying new things. At this time, the best things I’ve ever purchased have been suppressors and thermals. Ramped up the fun for me exponentially.

Some years ago BOG made a PSR top for handguns and specialty pistols. After trying to find one and couldn't, I built my own. This is a great rest for handguns and specialty pistols. I recently put the top on an inverted tripod with leveling base. This stays in the truck. The photo below shows it on the old aluminum tripod.

Mines definitely a suppressor. Went out with a buddy who refuses to get a suppressor and it sucks hunting with him now.

Just got some range finding binos with ballistics so I’m hoping that’s a game changer going forward. Headed out tomorrow to test them out.

During the day, my Steiner m/m 7x50 binos(west Germany).
At night thermal scope, I must be very visually orientated.
I’m like that big game hunting. I would rather leave my weapon at home than my optics.

I really like my Sly dog ground & pound chair. Backpack and seat with adjustable backrest all in one. Only other thing I need is my gun.
That’s my number 3. It’s so basic and just works!

I figured there would be a few guys with a favorite set of sticks.

A drag rope with a handle.
Sucks dragging a coyote or 3 a mile in deep snow by the legs.
I bought myself a harness made for dragging deer. It was like $5 at an overpriced sporting goods store. I was dragging by hand but at night I don’t have a free hand.

Yea I was hoping to see some different things I might need to try out gear wise. I’ve been kinda stagnant gear wise for awhile.

I like daytime hunting better. But it’s hard to hunt when I’m at work during the day. And with thermal it’s easy to send vids back home to friends and family.

I know what you mean. I almost tried talking my buddy into using one of my rifles last time we went out. It was during a tourney though and I didn’t want him to be shooting an unfamiliar rifle.

A suppressor should be mandatory like a safety is on a rifle.

In the last three months I have learned that dry ranch roads are about the most important thing for my coyote calling. I have not been able to hunt coyotes much because of washed out roads or roads that are muddy.
