Favorite Loads For Savage Predator .22-250?

In my Savage Pred. 10. I tried 38.0 gr. of H380 w/Mag primer and although it was getting very tight group, bolt was starting to open a little hard, not much, but it was getting there.
I'm gonna try standard primers this spring and see what it does as I step it up.
Got 3-4 other powders to try and really haven't found the "pet" for it yet.

My Savage Predator loves the following...55 Sierra Blitz Kings, 37.1 RL15, BR2 primers, between .000 -.005 off the lands, OAL to ogive 2.095 (.005 off) for 3725fps with a SD of 6.9 and ES of 12.0

Will shoot .4" all day.

Good luck with your Predator.

Cover Dog

55 grain Sierra HPBT, and 35.5 grains of Varget, as well as 32.6 grains of Benchmark, along with Fed 210 primers.
Benchmark shot 3 shots into a 1/4" group at 100 yards, and the Varget load shot a 3/8" group. All shot with a 36x scope on top.

In my savage, not the predator model. I shoot 50 grain V-max, 32.9 gr. H4895 and Remington 9 1/2's. Groups very well in my gun. So did the 52 grain boat tail hp's with this recipe. Haven't tried any other powders it shot pretty good for me so I have stuck with it.
