I have enough experience on this to actually post something useful (75+ DVDs).
I believe it depends on personality type and what you are looking for.
Overall Randy Anderson is funny, good personality, very good at calling/filming, and can teach you stuff.
Mark Zepp is good as well--he's more of a nostalgic personality and always gives respect and appreciation for what he does and where he is. One more stand…good for a rainy day or when you are missing home.
Rick Paillet is also a hoot. You’ll be in tears watching the Verminator series—and you’ll learn a lot.
Kerry Carver’s 21 Days in Coyote Heaven is a great uncut video that I highly recommend as well. Not a lot of talking, just a lot of calling/killing
FOXPRO has a lot of night hunts if you like that route. They also have a Desert In Distress video w/Al Morris that is great as well.
Byron South also has a great video line and does a lot of his calling in the thick stuff. Got to love a man that can call and film in the thick stuff. You don’t see that often in this profession. His Coming to the Call #3 is a great video for that.
Conclusion: Randy, Rick, Mark, Kerry, Bryon, Big Al/Mike/Abner, are all worthy DVDs. I also recommend Les Johnson if you like the Predator Quest series and Fred Eichler if you like the Predator Nation series. They sell the annual episodes on DVD and they are of great quality.
