saw some at a store online. anybody shot any of this? are the cases stamped federal or is it hornday ammo/brass in federal boxes?

Was it Federal's American Eagle label in 17 Hornet loaded with 20gr tipped bullets, that you saw? If so, I've seen the American Eagle stuff with the 20gr tipped bullets in 50rnd boxes, unlike the 25rnd boxes Hornady packages, but the American Eagle 17 Hornet ammo is always about .20 cents more per round but I like that they come in boxes of 50 instead of the 25's. Also, the Hornady stuff is listed at 3650 fps and the AE is only shown as 3610 fps.
Winchester, also, packages a 20gr tipped bullet in 17 Hornet that is listed as 3650 fps but I kind of think there is a strong possibility one of the three is loading it all. Similar to the 17 WSM rimfire, Winchester loads all the ammo for the 17 WSM, regardless of what headstamp it has or color and name on the outside of the box.
Considering they all worked together before, it wouldn't surprise me at all if that is the case on the 17 Hornet ammo as well.

i have never seen the winchester 17 hornet ammo and far as i can tell there is none being made yet. it would not surprise me if they were all made in the same facility and put in different packaging.
