Took a gamble on a property that works for a SE wind. Got there and deep snow and high winds made for a crappy hunt. Packed up and went to another property at a lower elevation. Only a foot of snow there. I threw out some MFK Rosebush Cotton for a few minutes. After a short pause I let out a Bustin Fur Audio howl called Moto Bashful I think. Played the sequence and a double showed up in a minute or two. I dropped the smaller one in hopes of calling the larger one back. It didn’t work. Smallish female.

It was nice to get out. Pretty cold in the high teens.

Nice job!
The snow at my spot over the weekend was to my knees....the official measurement was 25.5".
Made it very difficult to reposition on coyotes so I just backed out.

@limbhanger10 I’m no stranger to that scenario. Next couple days should knock the snow back pretty good here. I hope the same holds true for you.

The spot I made the first set was just about what you described with the snow. Really tough to get through. I should have known better. The higher elevations here really get hit hard with snow. If the Mohawk Valley has deep snow, the hilltops on either side are generally much worse!
