No. I had to bring them them the hide, and the skinned carcass (they want the head but I brought them the hole carcass). They remove my kill tag from the hide and put their tag on it which they refer to as "sealed" Shown in post #27. They keep the head to do whatever it is they do to them.So they skin it for you?
My taxi is a friend of mine in Alto. I'd like to have it mounted just sitting the way it was when I pulled the trigger. We looked at a few forms the other day. He'll order me one when the hide gets back from the tannery.Who's doing the work and what are you having done ?
Michigan born and raised,I've never heard of Alto. I looked it up, there's lots of places in that area I'm not familiar with. There's even an Alaska !My taxi is a friend of mine in Alto. +100 !I would be willing to bet more bobcat mounts are butchered than any other creature. Even excellent deer, duck, and fish guys can't do a bobcat worth a damn. I would really want to see the work of the taxidermist on bobcats before I would let one touch my cat.
This guy mounts everything for me. I've known him for about 15 years now, drank more beer in his shop than my wife will ever know about! LOL He did my full body coyote last year.I would be willing to bet more bobcat mounts are butchered than any other creature. Even excellent deer, duck, and fish guys can't do a bobcat worth a damn.
