First coyote of the season

The snow was hard and making a ton of crunching noise when I was walking in, had low confidence in the stand. Turned on pup distress and within 5 minutes heard a coyote running in. She came into the clearing at 50 yards and got a shot on her

She had a nice coat, gonna skin it out tomorrow and send it to the taxidermist, can't wait

That's awesome. Are you going to have it tanned or mounted? Tanned is no big deal, but if you are going to have it mounted then you may want to let the taxidermist skin it

Was going to tan this one but if I'm lucky enough to get another one this year I'm going to do an open mouth mount

Yep definitely wanted to point that out for anyone somewhat new like myself because I know many times I've walked in and made a small mistake and told myself, "yep this stand is over before it started", only to have some level of success that night of hearing/seeing or shooting one

Nice going! The first one is always a rush. Was for me. .....a photo tip, if you hold them out in front of you further they look even bigger. I do it all the time with fish.

Never heard of that saying that's funny! Its sherpa lined on the inside and was $17 bucks at bass pro I was like yep this is gonna do for coyote season

I'm far from an expert but from my experience only time I am real concerned about camo is with turkey, those buggers seem to see me from a mile away and start running the opposite direction.
