First deer with 22-250

I should have worded the whole thing differently, it was obvious to me that the movement was deer before I ever raised my gun. I was mainly trying to identify if it was the type deer I was after, i.e. bucks or does, because I didn't want to make a stalk on a buck during the doe season and potentially spook out a deer that I mite potentially hunt later. I've hunted for 17+yrs and safety has always been priority number one and I've past up on taking countless shots that had any "if" possibility, including a shot oppurtunity at a 170+ inch deer this yr that I was never 110 % comfortable on the shot presented. In all my time of hunting I've never had another human in my sights and do not intend to, and I gurantee that I'm safer with a gun than 99% of people that go into the woods each fall.

I wouldnt ever worry about a 22-250 being big enough for killing deer, I have shot over 50 deer with my 22-250 and never had 1 run more than 50 yards. But having more gun is never a bad thing, guess thats why Im using a bigger rifle the past 4 years.
