First Time out Crow hunting = 3 down (Pic)

Went out this morning about 6:45 and setup up with 4 flocked decoys I picked up recently, place 3 on the ground and 1 in the tree. Before if was even setup I heard some through the woods and before I even had the caller turned on I had two toll in and got to shoot one of them. Then during my 1hr calling session I had a few singles come in and a few high smart birds, ended up shooting 3 and I missed 1. It was a pretty good time, just need to find where there's lot of crows traveling.

What do you do with them? Have you tried eating them. Have heard of it never tried it.

Went yesterday evening, probably to late, killed 2 missed 2. Most were way high and passing through, wouldn't circle but 2 will make some nice stew tonight.lol

How long do you stay at a setup?

I stay as long as the crows are coming, maybe only 15 minutes, or maybe over 1 hour. When the crows stop coming, quit calling and be quiet for 10 or 15 minutes and try again. Sometimes we ge lucky and they will return several times, maybe lasting 2 or 3 hours in 1 place.
