Five AR-15s

I took out five of my ar 15s today and shot 5 round groups. I used 2 different loads, one load with 55 gr ballistic tips and one load with Hornady 55 FMJs

Rifles where:

Eagle Arms action master stainless 20 Inch 1-9 twist J-P 3 lb trigger

Daniel Defense DDM4V5 16 inch 1-7 twist 3.2 lb stock trigger.

BM Carbon 15 Superlight ORC 16 inch chrome lined 1-9 twist 2lb 15 0z ELF trigger.

CBC Industries 16 inch Heavy fluted stainsess 1-8 twist 3lb trigger

CBC Industries 24 inch spiral fluted 1-9 twist. 2.5 lb 2stage trigger.

(.827 5 shot group) Guess which gun shot the best group and guess what bullet it was?

I wish I was physic, I'd be planning on how I was going to spend my big 600+ million Powerball winnings but that didn't happen. I think a lot of people dismiss the Hornady 55 grain fmj as an inaccurate bullet because they equate it to a "mil-spec" minute of man fmj. The lowly Hornady 55 grain fmj is fine bullet, I buy them by the 6k case.

I'd be upset if that's THE BEST my rifles could do. Do you think the poor accuracy is because of the ammo, or the rifles?

Do you think the poor accuracy is because of the ammo, or the rifles? the powder maybe,,,, i have 50 ballistic tips that do better and for some reason all the 40 gr brand ballistic tips shoot real well . what surprised me was how bad the Hornady Ballistic tipped 55 grain was,,,, way bad!
