Flashlights?

What's everyone using for flashlights? Surefires, stingers, mag lights, Walmart specials lol?

I'm thinking about picking up another sure fire and would like to see some other options

FWIW, I purchased the Kill Lights from Wildlife Technologies for night hunting for predators & actually use them more for home use than anything else. I have an XLR 250 and a 100 with all three color LED bulbs that can be switched out in seconds. The batteries are rechargeable and last a long time. Nice not having to be buying batteries for flashlights anymore.

I would recommend the XLR 100 because of it's small size & unbelievable brightness, for general use. Plus, you can purchase a cheap headband and have hands free operation that can be pretty darn handy at times! I really think it's a versatile light that will work for mounting on a variety of weapons for night use, also. Check it out.

I was such a Surefire slut I won't be needing anything new for a long time. I'm pretty well stocked. I don't know if anything new has really eclipsed the Surefire lights, they have served me very well.

I have a few Pelican flashlights that were gifts from work. other than that, several cheapies regular and LED`s

I'm a flashaholic...I have a ton of lights for EDC or dedicated to hunting/outdoor. Gerber, Streamlite, Maglites, Kill light, Predator light, Petzal, Fenix, Cabelas, and many more. Everything I have now is LED and compact. My EDC is a Fenix LD05. One thing to consider is the power source. I try to keep the same type of batteries for all of my most used lights. That way I don't have to carry a bunch of different batteries around.

I used to like maglights, I got tired of replacing bulbs.

Last year I picked up a Fenix LD20 and LOVE it!! Surefires are out of my price range but the Fenix's and StreamLights are awesome for a reasonable price.

I know a lot don't like E-Bay or China.I ain't crazy about either myself. But,I did get some flashlights there and am pleased with them. You can get one for 4 or 5 dollars that cost 50 bucks if you buy from an importer. The ones I got put the Surefire in the drawer, they are that much better. Some come with rechargeable batteries.Even got a red led in one of them.I think I have 13 dollars in some of them,I have several. It may take a month to get here but so far not one has been lost.Just thought you might want to check it out.
