just wanted to know if anyone had one. i have used the ps-32 but i know someone selling a hs-324 and he said the range is 3 times the ps32 and thats why he wants 3,500 for it. im going to try and check it out this week. he's financially stable and takes care of his things. but there are not alot of reviews for them online so i thought id ask around.

MMills,
Our agency has used one for about 1 1/2 years. I just sent if back for a minor repair. I like the unit, ours has the 2x zoom on it. It works well in open areas, but I find when looking at tree lines it all appears white hot or black, depending which setting you use. The owners manual shows a 720 meter detection range and a 180 meter recognition range with the 2x zoom and the 19mm lens. I wish it had the red hot identity alert of some of the newer models. I don't like the cheap little plastic cap that covers the lens, we've replaced that once already. It is optimized for the 2700mah NiMH batteries. It should have the SD card port for pictures too. Either PM Skypup or call Vic at TNVC, one of the sponsors. They know all on such matters.

Hope this helps.

It pretty much has the same core and lens as your PS32 does with the ability to record to an SHDC card, removable batteries, and the same 19mm lens with 2X magnification and 9Hz frame rate. As far as range and recognition, it is similar to your PS-32.
