Thanks Sparky & Byron you have provided great substance to this thread. Originally I searched for a site to back up the 40,000 number because it seemed many wouldn't buy it. That high number has even more meaning to me now. There have been articles about bear scouting and leaving sweaty rags around to familiarize the bears pre season.
