For all you nonbelievers Mini 14 Target Video

If you have a flat top AR it is really easy and simple to get the right eye level for you. Just preping my first AR this year it was easy. I measured what my other scopes were from barrel to middle of the scope. went online found that the millet xtra high rings put it right where it needed to be for me and mounted the scope when they came in. Sighted it in in 10 minutes and has been fine. It really didn't take anymore time than any other rifle I had ever outfitted with rings and a scope.
 
This thing will shoot hands down. But, yes it is heavy mine had the Laminate stock from the get go. But I removed it and replaced with a butler creek sporter. It is much more hunter friendly. I love the way my mini fits in my hands I think it will shoot with any factory .223 out there.
 
There are just some People who will never give ruger a chance. No matter how it shoots! its still says "ruger" or "mini 14". Its like a die hard Chevy guy will NEVER buy a Ford or vis versa. Everybody has there own opinion. Mne is I own 5 rugers 2- 10/22's 2 m77's 223 and 22-250 and the new mini target. And they all shoot great, cant say anything bad about em!
 
I sure would like to know what load that was! If anyone has contact with Paul, try to find out.

I am impressed with the 300 yds stuff but not with the 3-shot groups on the targets. Too much luck with 3 shot groups. Now if he had 5 5-shot groups for average that would be more impressive. As for the rock at 200, I can shoot dirt all day long and say I am hitting Fire ants! LOL!!

I am suppose to be getting one of these rifles for testing as soon as I get caught up. Will know what they can do then for sure. I currently have a 6.8 Ranch that does about 5-6" at 100.

what do you think about yours?
 
The first time playing with it i was getting 1" groups at 100 yards but i only had one type of ammo im going out tomarro to fine tune it il let you know!!
 
Just got done shooting! I can almost cover a five shot group with a dime, its really close. That was at 100 yards. And I rang the dong 3 for 3 at 450 yards. I dont know where they hit and i really dont care, I made it ring and thats just fine with me. My dampner ended up just like ol paul's way back on the barrel.I also put a limbsaver down at the base of the barrel, it looks kinda cool! I wish it wouldent throw the brass so dang far. I was shooting Federal 50 grain hollow Points. They shoot real good out of mine The target mini kicks @SS!
