No you can download the tracks from your unit using the Mapsource software included with your unit....you can also get your topo maps for free at GPS File Depot To load the topo maps onto your unit you will need a MicroSD memory card, get one of the smaller cards 1-2 GB at Walmart, Target....where ever for under $15 and you'll have topo maps on your unit....priceless when hunting, there's alot of times when you can simply walk around a large hill in mountainous terrain and really save your energy for hunting.
When you get them loaded up they'll look like this without topo lines
