For the hogster guys

Choices are great, so thanks for spreading the word. I was told I was going to be sent one to test, but haven't received it to compare it to the one off Amazon. This one you posted about looks very nice, but I do like the versatility of the one on Amazon as it can work on any scope.

No matter which you get, my recommendation is if you are right handed, mount it so the cat tail is on the left side of the scope. I originally had it on top, but this is hard to reach in the dark. When it is on the left side, perpendicular with the scope, it makes it easy to adjust with your off hand.

Thanks Kirsch, I had to mount mine pointing upwards in order to fit in the Voodoo Rifle Scabbord I’m using.
Had to get away from hard cases cause of the amount of mistakes/noise that was being made after long nights of hunting and once everyone was past tired . Lol

Sorry, I've been busy. I just picked up my hogster yesterday...

Should be in the mail this week.

I am not affiliated with either solution but have played with both. They each have their pros and cons:

Zrtacticalsolutions Extender:
1) Fits Well As Custom Crafted For The Hogster
2) Light
3) Professional Looking
4) Nice Tight Fit. Shouldn't Slip

Amazon Extender:
1) Extension Knob Can Be Positioned At Any Location
2) Can Be Put On & Removed Without Removing Scope Cap
3) Larger Extension Knob
4) More Universal As Can Be Used On Other Optics

So, it comes down to need and style. I am very picky on how I set up the extender. For me, I like it to be set on the left side of the scope (my off-hand) for easy and quick adjustment. I like to set it in an exact position so it sits perfectly horizontal when at the sweet spot for focus at roughly 200 yards. This way, there is just minimal changes necessary for different yardages. I like the fact that I can remove the extender if putting the scope in a case or something where the extender might hit.

The zrtacticalsolutions option is a more professional looking option and it is custom fit to the Hogster.

Both options work.
