Forster Benchrest Seater Die vs Ultra Micrometer Seater Die

Yup they said it would fit, I got them in the mail today and immediately ran to my press to make sure it fit and it did with a little room to spare. Here is a pic:

One thing for sure, you buy a great set of dies and they will last you for the rest of your life.

I have a set of Lyman rifle dies that I have been using since 1968 in six remington, and the Lee Nut Cracker dies for the same caliber that I used prior to the Lyman.

You will not regret buying those. I decided not to say anything, but I knew they would have enough clearance in your Press. They aren't that much taller than the standard benchrest dies they make. Besides, why make a die that can't be used in the Press you make?

My press is actually a Bonanza press so I wasn't sure if the current Forster model had a different handle with more clearance? so I was a bit relieved when customer service said it would fit plus like I said I ran down to my press to try it out. LOL.

It is a coin toss as far as what benchrest seater to buy. Most of us savy reloaders worry about bullet runout of our reloads. I have found that crooked case necks caused by case sizing process to be the problem. Learning how to adjust full length and neck sizing dies help out. Many reloading manuals have such informaton.

The die will screw down farther than your showing won't it?
