Forster Micrometer Seating Die Question

I found where this question has been asked before on the forum but I did not find a definitive answer.

I recently received my Forster Micrometer seating die for 308 Win in the mail. I have two Forster benchrest dies without the micrometer tops in 243 and 270.

Can I use the micrometer top from the 308 die on the other dies?

I'd obviously have to swap out the stem and sleeve to make it work but it seems feasible.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
 
If the micrometer stem threads into the non micro dies it will work. Id do it as long as the stem wasn't putting a funky crown on bullet(with proper/preferred neck tension) and the base to ogive measurements were consistent. I've had forster bench rest seaters(have 2 for sale right now) and I know the micrometer stem cant be retroed on them(different thread size/diam). I would keep them otherwise. Good luck!
