I picked up a fury 2 last weekend. It has the tx505, and has the erratic scrolling knob. I don't know any better, so it doesn't bother me and I don't know if it will.
The rubber cover not staying put on the charger jack is probably more of an annoyance for me. However, that is probably more because of the sticker price in conjunction with something not being perfect more than it really being an issue.
At the end of the day, I'll either ignore or troubleshoot. I've consistently seen posts referring to great customer service from foxpro on this site, and I'm confident that if I bring complaints to their attention my concerns will be addressed. (Off topic, but for those of you who reload on a blue press, the fervency about customer service seems very similar to that towards Dillon presses. The coincidence of the Mike Dillon name is entertaining as well.)
I'm actually surprised they hinged them from the bottom up, but maybe there is a reason I'm not aware of since this call hasn't made it past annoying cats in the barn yet.
Anyway, I'm happy with my purchase; and if any of the small things that are anomalies to my caller start to bug me as I get used to it, I know how to take care of them.
I'd also like to iterate the question coyoteclyde asked coyote6974 about the knob going one click at a time. Do you like it better than the erratic knob which, in this thread, seems to be more the norm?
