I have a FX5 that will not work with the remote from any father than five feet.This has just happened.All the batteries have been charged and I tried new ones just incase it was my chargeables?Has anyone had this problem with thier foxpro 3 or 5?Any clues to the fix?I hate to send it back right now as the fur is so good and the calling has been great?Thanks
 
Make sure your 9V battery is in good shape on your remote and connected securely. Also, if you are not familiar yet, make sure your remote is in sync with your FX-5. If you changed any sounds on the caller or if the individual who programmed it originally messed up with the download of sounds from the caller to the remote, sync issues could be your problem. Finally, make sure the caller is a few feet off the ground with the antenna straight up, and hold your remote antenna straight up when operating. If none of this helps, get Foxpro on the phone, and they'll be more than glad to help you out.
 
Things do happen occassionally to equipment. Your fix lies in Lewistown PA. Been there done that with mine!

I strongly recommend you buy one of their FX5 bags to carry it in, so as to provide protection. Not saying your problem is caused by rough housing. But I am quilty of letting mine roll around in the floorboard of the truck and various other bad handling habits. Not anymore. Got the bag.

FoxPro will take care of you and add any upgrades to it since your purchase.
