IMO you start with a selection of coyote vocalazation. I have terminated many coyotes in the past by communicating with one howl or the other. Howling is under used and under rated IMO. I like using female and male lonesome howls and interrogation howls.
Fox Pro sounds are really good. I like using a wide variety of sounds to keep the coyote education classes to a minumum. I would suggest rabbit, fox, turkey, cannine, kitten and sheep/goat distress sounds. I have killed a lot of coyotes with different jack rabbit sounds and I live in cotton tail country (no jacks at all).
One of my favorites before I ring the dinner bell is to howl and use crow gathering sounds to get the best of the curious coyotes. When a coyote responds to that combo he usually isn't very paranoid and doesn't play the wind as hard. Doesn't work all the time but I have killed plenty with that combo.
