Foxpro update sought

I've determined that my new phantom caller is just plain craptacular in the woods. At 35 yards, even with the new and improved antenna, with an unobstructed view, you can't turn the dam thing off or adjust the volume. (Yes, I've called/emailed the company) What a bomb! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gifI'll just eat it or ebay it.
I am looking at Foxpro and have read many posts. Is delivery still backlogged? Refurbished units available? Every one satisfied with sound quality? I'm looking at the 32 sound unit.

They do not have Refurbished units as of 30 days ago. Their backlog is still 4-5 weeks. But there are two used units last I checked for sale on the for sale thread on this site. I almost bought one of them from a nice guy out in Montana, but decided to order a new one and wait for it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Ya know.....PM puts a lot of time and effort into this forum. Seems like every FoxPro question or write up has something to do with their backlog. Someone at FoxPro should be updating this forum every Monday or Wednesday with what production day orders they are producing, or am I off bass with this one. I know Mike is busier that an octopus with a case of the hives but HEY we are the ones buying the products!
