foxpro vs. highway

Out locating last night and as many of us do, I set the Foxpro on the roof of the truck. Well, needless to say I got sidetracked, rolled up the window and took off down the highway. About a half a mile down the road I heard a loud thunk and immediately realized what I had done. Pictures dont do it justice. Sad day.

I have done the same thing only with a shockwave. It still worked after falling off the cab goin 60 down the road. Called foxppro and got it fixed easily. Great customer service.

I'd call & talk to them about it. I wouldn't expect it covered under warranty, but it might be that they can fix it for a reasonable enough price to make it worth doing.

Ouch! I'd definitely try to send it to FoxPro like others have stated for repair or rebuild if they offer that service. If they do offer that service I "without a doubt" know I made the right purchase on my new caller a few weeks ago :)
I'd love to know the outcome!

I know your pain. I did the same thing, only I had left my gps on the roof. Fortunately, it still worked and only suffered a few scratches.

Here is the thing. They claim these are "made in America" but upon taking it apart it is Chinese crap. I called the manufacturer of the speakers to see if I could order one and he said they only sell them in the 1000's and he could not sell me one. Which is fine. Bulk distributer of Chinese crap. Ok. Scoured the intetnet to find a 92mm speakers to replace it with. Sounds easy enough. Not a soul makes thay size besides this Chinese company. So I called Foxpro and told them what happened and that I would like to just purchase the speakers. They also told me no they cant sell those and that I'd have to send it in. So the Fusion is on its way to Foxpro to have 20.00 worth of Chinese speakers replaced and they can charge me who knows how much.
