Foxpro x24 LED (night hunting)

Do you guys tape over the green LED when you night hunt on your x24? Or, is it a non-issue?

i have the patriot, i do not tape over the light and so far its been a non issue. they run from the scent on and around the call more than being scared away by the green light.

Yep, I have tape over mine. It's crazy bright in the dark. I use blue painters tape. Seems to block most of the light, but let's enough through to still make it easy to grab in the dark. No idea if it matters at all to coyotes, but seems excessive.

...I have a neoprene cover for mine so it pretty much blocks any peripheral light.
I know I've had coyotes see the light and then make the call out. Wind was good and call hadn't played.
If I see the light from 100 yards the coyote can see it also.

Yeah, I bet lightning and falling stars really freaks them out…or folks that use red and green lights to shoot them.

I thought my looked like a green flashlight laying out there, I covered mine with black electricians tape.

Non issue for me. Also helps with locating the caller in the dark

I’ve owned my X2S since they first came out which also has LED. NON ISSUE !
