Frankford Arsenal Platinum Case Trimmer and Prep Center

I've had one for about 2 yrs now, and the case trimmer function went south after about 2K (?) cases. It has a horrible squeal when a case is inserted for trimming and takes forever to trim to length. I tried new cutter heads, cleaning, etc. so I moved on. All the other functions/stations still work fine, just not the trim function.

I would consider the new prep center by FA coming out soon (look at midwaydotcom) has 4 stations but no trim function, and loot at other methods/options for trimming brass. JMO

My got tough to cut with the original trim bit. I got the new carbide from RCBS (On Amazon) and it is cutting just fine. My son just did about 300 rounds of his 300 blackout, it is working good. I love mine and it saves a lot of work. When I have spent brass I just resize, trim and chamfer it, then in the tumbler and dry it. That way the next time I need brass to reload it is ready to go.
