Here is RRA advanced half quad handguard. This is one sweet piece of machined aluminium!! Got it at Joebob's outfitters. Its heavy but well worth it

ohhhh I LIKE IT A LOT

My only concern with these types is the aluminum gets really cold in the winter, and if you constantly have your hand on it, it might be transmitting it through your gloves and then to your hands.

That said...I might be putting one of these on my AR10 build. (I kinda want a 15" rail though)

I guess I don't look at it any differently than the previous free float tube I had on there. Plus it still. Has the comfort of not have to hold on to the rails. Its a bad A$$ looking unit. You are right though cbass, going to need a good pair of gloves!

How come they show up $165 on the site?

It was a mixup on their site that has now been fixed. Honest mistake. The way these are made though 149.95 would be an ABSOLUTE bargain!! They are nice.

The employee who added them had a mixup between the pricing scheme and the other similar, but different hand guards, basically. The way they are on the web, now, are correct, in terms of their product codes, pricing, and picture. We still honored the price for backy33 and took the loss on it because we had already quoted him directly.
