Gabe. Yeah, I figured you'd ask for pics. I'm new to the forum so I'll have to figure out how to do that. The flush mounts are nice, my Dad has something similar on a 788 in 222 Rem. The downside is that it limits your sling selection. I have a bunch of slings of different types and styles. By using standard QD studs, I can use any one of the numerous slings I have. This flush mounted style would require specific swivels on the sling. The QD studs I have on my rig do stick out but they are rounded and are in locations that don't cause problems. My rig started out as a standard A2 kit from Model 1 Sales many years ago. It's been modded with a one-piece free float tube and flat top upper. I'll see if I can post photos.
