Glenn and I went out on Friday to check out a dog town we just got access to a couple of weeks ago.
Sun was out, the wind was fairly low, and the dogs were high in number.
Glenn said we easily took over 100 pd's, but that is not something I typically think about.
Glenn brought his center-grip 6GT (He made the stock and bedded it himself) XP, with the 109 ELD-M's), 22 Creed XP (88grain ELD-M), and his rear grip 223 Rem (Made the stock and bedded that one too), using the 77 grain Sierra Tipped MatchKing.

I shot my center grip Borden/Alpine XP in 6GT with 109 ELD-M's, and my center grip XP-100 in 223AI with 75 grain A-Max's.
I did all of my shooting with the 6GT off of my tripod, and killed 12 dogs with out to under 300 yards, then 223AI did the majority of the work for me.
I got several doubles (one was over 300 yards), and I know Glenn got one double.
Longest kill was right at 567 yards...75 grain A-Max did good!
Here are some pics and vids for your enjoyment.
It was a GOOD DAY!

This is what Glenn's 223 Rem rear grip looks like-From last year when his grandson was shooting it.

I called Glenn, "Dan" in the video. Dan wasn't with us...They say the memory is the first to go...

I have wondered latley if anyone was shooting xp's still. I was hot for one when I was young. Kinda still am. Handgun hunting was hot when I was a kid and it still looks like a lot of fun.
