Gas block help

Ok I am in the process of trying to make some upgrades on my AR in the pic above. I ordered a Magpul PRS stock, MI SS forend, optics, and of course a low profile gas block.

Problem is that Oly Arms decided with all there great wisdom that they were going to put this bull barrel on there K8s. Which is great and all except you need a .940 gas block on it. Seems that the average gas blocks are .750, .936 and one other cant remember right now. The point is I cant find a low profile gas block that works with what I have. I ordered a low profile gas block from Oly Arms and recieved it yesterday. Only to find out that my MI SS forend wont fit over the low profile gas block. So unless I find a gas block that works I am back to square one.

Oh yea I forgot to mention that they use a 12.5inch forend on there K8 so I cant find a 12.5in that I want. So I went with a 15in and had to get a low profile gas block. Now my problem is I cant find a forend that fits over the .940 low profile gas block.

The gas block in the pic above is the one that came with the upper. If the new Gas block was a .936 I would be golden. I am wondering is there any way to get a good light forend with a low profile gas block to go on this barrel. Or am I just crap out of luck.

I am wanting a forend that is pretty much like the MI SS or a Troy Alpha. I would have ordered the 12in but I was afraid it would look dumb with .5in of gas tube sticking out. I need some gun smith advice. Please sombody help me

You can't go wrong with that gas block. I have one and it is great and Mike was super easy to work with and got it shipped same day even in the panic madness.

The gas block in the picture above is not the one I have on there now. I ordered a low profile gas block from Oly Arms. The problem I was having was that my new forend was only 1.5in diameter. It needed to be a 2in. I was going to order a new gas block from Dtech but was informed that the forend had to be atleast 2in diameter. So now I ordered a new forend and am trying to sale the other one. I was going to return it to Midwest Industries but then I was informed I have to pay a 20% restocking fee. Which 20% at $200 is $40. just to return it. Thats not including shipping. I found that to be a little crazy. I now have a Troy forend heading my way. Only problem now is I need a gunsmith that has the tools to take off my old parts and put on my new. I didnt realise that there were no gunsmiths in my area. ZERO gunsmiths. This just makes me want to go to gunsmith school even more. Its frustraiting.

I dont have a vise or the wrench. I also dont know what I need to take the buffer tube off. I need to install my Magpul PRS stock but dont know how to get the tube off
