Why would a failing state governor talking about a constitutional amendment change get any attention, it takes 2/3 US Senate/House to pass a constitutional amendment. And ratification by 3/4 of state legislatures. Probably because democrats have been running public education and the majority of citizens under 40 can't read/comprehend the US Constitution. So people actually believe the crap out of his yap, amazing. He must have forgot about the Equal rights amendment (28th) that has yet to be ratified(deadline expired in 1982).

Right. Perhaps the real problem is NOT the Constitution and never has been.
The truth is, America isn't being hollowed out from the inside out because politicans were or are following the Constitution.
The founding documents aren't the problem and never have been. If they wanted to balance the budget, it is already an established obligation in Article VI, but most of them will not refrain from the continuation of funding to the plethora of unconstitutional centralized rogue federal bureaucracies, special interests, domestic welfare, foreign welfare, NGOs and public private partnerships and everything else I'm not naming.
Think about it for a minute, opening up an Article V Convention of States by a vast majority of crooked politicians both at the state and federal levels in both political parties to make changes to the founding documents to their liking under the guise of fixing societies social problems or politicians spending problems is a folly and a danger of biblical proportions.
