You guys have some great looking dogs. I can't figure out how to post pics on this forum. Had a great time hunting this year,we hunted chukar and valley quail. Once I figure out how post some pics I'll put them on. My GSP was a line breed off Larry's dog Neo.

Why are you looking to get rid of him? How far is Tularosa from Clovis? Last, do you have any females?

here in new mexico our pheasant season is three days long i am hoping to get my dogs over to roswell and get them on some birds

"Murphy" and I love shorthair threads. Having trouble getting pictures on here. Murphy is my buddy in the avatar. Best year of birdhunting I've had in a very long time. Before anyone asks the fella that let me in on the secret made me promise that if he showed me that I told no one. It's a small world and a deal is a deal. We intentionally flew numbers of birds on most days just to have some fun and prolong the hunt. Never been there and not had the opportunity to take birds. Pinch me I'm dream'n. Murphy eats this stuff up. Most intense animal I've ever owned. We (Murphy & I) had a blast this season! I'm hoping this place stays a secret for a very long time.

Shorthairs are great animals. Among the most intelligent dogs I have ever worked with and I've been blessed with some pretty fine animals of different breeds over the years.
Maybe it's besause I've always had this uncanny ability to pick out a pup. Can't explain it, just a knack that I have, combined with a few tricks I've pick up along the way.

**Got a great trick for bonding with a pup that an oldtimer (listen to me calling someone an oldtimer) taught me if anyone's interested. Always happy to pass on something that works. Sounds rediculous, works slicker than ship through a goose!
