As I've mentioned in an earlier post, I used to shoot a lot of GSSF pistol matches (9 per year) and owned eight Glocks at one time... Two 17s, a 19, a 26, as well as a 22, 23, 20, and a 29...I used to shoot in all four of the "stock" classes..
After some health issues, I dropped off the circuit and weaned myself down just one... It's a First Generation that was introduced in 1986 and has a five digit serial number and what the Glock people refer to as a 'pencil' barrel...She still resides in her original 'Tupperware' box..
She ain't pretty or fancy, but she's been set up for 'stock' competition with a lightened trigger group (by Glock armorers) and is backed up with five hi-cap mags and four standard (10 rd) mags...All updates by Glock have been performed until I quit shooting the matches in 2004..
I would hesitate to even guess at how many rounds have been put through her and she's still as dependable as the day she came from the brain of Gaston Glock...
