Going for pigs tonight with the bow...

I'm to cheap to buy a new light so I just mounted my lightforce 170 on my stabilizer... Just did some shooting in the back yard...look out MISS PIGGY

Went out too late they were already there at midnight, which is strange because they haven't been hitting the cameras until 2a.m.,

Talk about a rush I was using the bright night sky to navigate to my stand just enough light to see the trail... I got within about 30 yds and heard a noise thought it was a pig already in my trap so I flipped on the lightforce and shined to the trap, no pig in the trap, but the earth began to move all around me...

"$%^#" pigs scattered every where and there I was my bow in hand no arrow nocked, pin light not turned on. Bow in one hand, light in the other, couldn't reach my side arm

...standing 10 yrds from a what look like 500 lb sow (probably 150lbs) but man at the time she was hog from [beeep] with 10" cutters, breathing fire, and crapping brimstone... My heart was pounding out of my chest for what seemed like 5 min (probably 5 sec) and in a flash she was gone back into the briars...

No I didn't get anything but an adrenalin rush, but oh it was a good one... I'm hooked I will be back out later in the week I took off the rest of this week and next so I will settle the score...

Cool story..

That's why I go out at night.. it just seems more of a rush, especially when things happen and your by yourself.
