I work at a stone quarry running heavy equipment and have saw many red fox and coyotes running around here. I am going to try my luck hunting here this year only down fall is the set up of the land I have watched the patterns they run around the quarry son we will see how it goes.....they also own another quarry about seven miles north that is not active anymore and all the holes are full of water and the land is set up much better other employees hunt deer there so I won't hunt that till after first of the year. Has anyone else had exsperience hunting quarries?

I have a few old abandoned stone Quarries that I hunt near. The structure seems to make some nice denning spots in the rocks and I have pretty good success near those.

I'm hoping it goes well the none active quarry employees have been circled by yotes out there while moving their stands at dusk never came in closer than 15 yards but that tells me they aren't shy over there

Hunt on or near quite a few, we strip mine for limestone. In the winter I've noticed mouse tracks in just about every nook and cranny of the places. just trapped my first red fox and coon at the site I'm currently working at. We see yote tracks and fox tracks constantly. Called in two foxes last year, missed one spooked the other, so far no yotes.
