Golf Ball Cannon

Went to the range Saturday and while there a guy pulls up with a golf ball cannon that he made.

Using a shotgun primer, 300 grains of black power and fired a pink (yes pink) golf ball at ¾” plywood stand @ 50 yds and it made a perfect golf ball size hole (went through).

He let my wife pull the firing pin pull string too.

LOL, I was about 11 benches away, ready to squeeze off a round when the cannon was fired. It did cause me to look down the fireing line. Of course, all I could see was a dang lot of smoke. Yep, the machinist guy did a neat job on his cannon.
