Been a bolt man for decades,but wanted something different. Enter the "Black Rifle"
I don't have the skill or knowledge to build the quality rifle I desired. I contacted a PM sponser, Dan Carey, to build me a AR in the 223 caliber with a few "custom tweaks".
Below (I hope) is a target of some of the groups the rifle (which far out preforms the shooter) prints.
It's really not to pickey what bullet it shoots, 50gr, 53gr,
60gr. Don't seem to care
The sloppyest group measures .675" while the tightest is .290". Did allow the barrel to cool after each 5 shot group. The Gun Range is 107 yds.
Dan is currently building me another upper of different caliber.
