Got back Monday afternoon from Illinois, had a decent trip. Shot 5 bud missed 4, he gets excited. Didn’t see squat after having the mishap with the quad.So took a day off and decided to do a little daylight hunting. Did 5 stands and got singles on 2. First had the coyote come in hard inthe sage in around 2 minutes, howled him to a stop@160 when he saw me move the gun.2nd saw him at 600 coming through a pasture, got him crossing in front of me at 180. Nice big fluffy male. Both males today.

Got out of Illinois in the nick of time, that Gov is insane. Lots happened in the 5 years I’ve been gone. Too bad I couldn’t have stuck out the hard times in Missoula in the mid 80’s, had a couple properties that went through the roof since then.

On that stand I was set up in that corner to my right just inside the gate. That coyote came from the tree line 400 yds out when I saw him. Nice to have line distance with on x maps. Shot him going left to right about midway between the 2 poles in the distance. Poles are just reference. He did his part perfectly.
