Got a single female last night

Went out to this spot last night, second time this season. The wind was from the south at 10 mph. Set the call out about 50 yds west of my stand. Went thru my calling sounds and was on pup distress. Just about calling it a blank set. Look to my north again and here comes a coyote thru the cattle. I swing my gun a little and get settled in. It stayed farther out then I would like. It goes west to the top of the bowl edge and sits there. I change my pup distress to a different pup distress to see what it does. The coyote get up and squats to pee. Then starts trotting toward me. Great. As it getting closer it heads straight east and will soon be directly downwind of me. I growl and get it to stop, bang goes the rifle and that beautiful thop sound is heard. Down it goes, I bolt the rifle and it up running back west, goes about 25 yds and tumbuls. 135 yds (Onx) Made another set, but it was blank and wind was stronger, so home I went. And as always, thanks for taking the time to read my post.
