Got Sage Rats ?

Mike: We are just using the camera adapter from Leupold with my old Olympus digital camera. We shot them through my Leupold 12-40X spotter. I got a new Nikon digital for Christmas but I don't think it's going to work with the adapter. Not the best set-up but at least you get an idea. The video of "Junior" flying through the air with Mama Rockchuck turning her head to watch as he goes is precious! Sick...I know.

The sagerat area is pretty standard alfalfa pivots. It's surrounded on three sides by grazing land though...makes it pretty ideal for centerfires.

Here's some rockchuck country.

Gotta love Harney County--10,000 square miles with only 8,000 people. My kinda place. I think you guys will like it!

Mike: This is the set-up we've done most of the spotting scope photos and videos through. It's my Leupold 12-40X spotting scope with the Leupold camera adapter and my wife's Kodak camera. The problem with it is that it's hard to tell if the scope is really focused when looking through the camera (at least for old eyes).

That sounds like a ton of fun. Am definitely interested.

Didn't see the cost and other details that someone said would be forthcoming. ???
