Thanks for all of the information guys! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I'll give this stuff to the wife, and she can digest it and make some decisions. She does most of our vacation planning.....unless there's a hunting opportunity nearby.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Did that last April with my 16 and 12 year old, had a blast. Did Sedona then the Canyon. The most memorable experience was the drive from Williams to Jerome. Stopped to get a map and asked directions in Williams. I was told by clerk that it's not the best way but I'd take 4th street out of Williams and follow the signs you won't get lost. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif That turned into a 2 hour couple wrong turn ride through some of the prettiest country I'd ever seen. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif Barely a 2 lane dirt road, no guard rails and not much room for error. Even the kids were yelling at me to watch the road. Way different from anything here in NY. As we get to the outskirts of Jerome we see a rocket on the hillside. As we get close there's a fenced off road with a sign "if you can read this you're in range" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif we were laughing our A$$es off. Actual mileage was a lot shorter, don't think I saved any time but those memories will last forever. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
