Great horned owls

One of these days I,m gonna lose my foxpro decoy to a great-horned.Had 3 different owls swoop at the decoy this weekend and the one owl couldn,t have been more than a foot away when he veered off.Bet that would look awesome on video.Good luck calling-Lloyd
 
That is one of the neat things about calling, you never know what will show up. I have had owls, hawks, song birds, and even bald eagles come to my calls. Had deer come in, especially does, and get mad as heck. Occassionally I have even called up a four legged, no winged predator. LOL. Lots of smiles with all of these experiences.
 
I never had an owl, but I`ve had tons of hawks. I keep thinging my decoy is gone but they always pull up last second and land in a tree close by and watch for a while. then take off.
