Made 5 sets. Called something in on every set but one. First set called in a nice fox that came in from behind us. Got to about 10 yards before we knew he was there. Shots fired, not'n but air /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif The rest of the night my AR stayed in the truck, that 6.5 power was just too much, and the 12 guage came out. Second set brought in a nice yote at about the 20 min. mark. One shot from my buddies 223 put an end to him. On the way to the third set we see 2 yotes running across a field. Third set yielded another coyote that took a face full of buckshot from my 12 guage at about 50 yards. Forth set was dry. Fifth and final set of the night brough in yet another yote but to to changing winds not shot was offered. Here is a picture of the 2 we got. [image]

Stoney, Are you field calling or getting in the woods after them? My night calling dried up in the past week, calling in only 1 fox that backdoored me, but hoping the full moon will turn things back on this week.

Congrats on the night dogs. I had the same thought last night.

Man it was a bright one last night. Unfortunately my girlfriend was cooking dinner for me and was at the house other wise i would have skipped out and told her to meet me later /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Tonight though might be a different story. Hopefully its a bit warmer though. -6 when i left for work this morning. Not to fun to sit around it but i will do it.

We were out in the open fields sitiing on the fence lines for the most part. heavy timber was usually withing about 100yards or so though.

So, typical daytime stand....sweet! I'm going to watch the wind this week and hit it a few nights. That moon was bright enough to film, last night.

Thanks...Tony
