I use a enclosed reed jackribbit pred caller, I jsut happen to have one of lynn jabobsens purty ones but it makes the cock pheasent sound very well, early morn a few ca cocks on it and the roosters can't keep their mouth shut.
Yeah, I'm sure any closed reed will work as long as its the jack rabbit, the cottontail is a bit to high pitched, although I don't think the pheasents would mind one bit. ever use a hawk screamer,
