I just got finished watching hunting the night shift, and they touched on lightforce, well i went to the site and I saw green lens, and it said for spotting animals with sensitive eyes, anyone know anything about these, will these work as well as a red lens? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Hi Getfoxy,

I just recently (last week) shipped out 3 green 170 Filters, to 2 different coustomers From Texas...

Its my understanding that green works as well as red does on certain anamals, red is the most Popular......but if the coyotes are educated with the red and wont come around when calling, (so they say)green may be the Answer.........

Some Hunters (burn) there prey and they get shy of that kind of light and wont respond to calls, they learn fast when your hunting for them........Wouldent You??

This is a good Randy Watson Question....... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

What-a-say Randy........

i wasnt exactly wanting to spend $200 on a light, i dont need one real strong ..i hunt in thick stuff, whats a good light for under 100$

I could be way off base here but my understandings are that the green and blue light is highly visible to predators and that red light is not. I'd check that out before you go buying green lights. I think it's been discussed in predator biology forum. You could pop down there and ask.
