How do i find or know if greys are in the area never called one in and just ordered the grizz-n-grey and was wondering how do i find greys

If you have a FoxPro use the screaming grey fox. I live in Texas and they cannot resist this sound. All the greys here seem to come in around the 6 to 8 minute mark. I use my fx5 on about 20 to 24 on the volume. They are really curious animals and I use the fox jack decoy. They seem to like the tighter areas. I set the caller about 50 yards from us. Usually they will come to within 10 to 15 feet of the caller. Good luck they are fun to call.

I have found fox in general, reds and greys, seem to come quick...trying to beat the yotes to the meal. With that said, try different calls but I wouldnt waste a long stand on them...15-20 minutes max.

Gray Fox Pup and Screaming Gray Fox works quite well. Turn the volume up loud. Seems fox come to the call when it's blaring at high volume, whereas with other predators, the sound generally needs to be much less volume.

FoxPro's Steeltown Grey or Platinum Grey worked good for me in Upstate NY last year. Agree they seem not to be able to resist it. If they are around they will come in. They griz-n-grey sounded real good in the Youtube video I saw of it. Had some come in at the 22 Min Mark. Get in the woods not in the fields.

Move to Arizona. I think greys are about all we have here. They climb trees and will jump in your lap coming to the call. The griz and grey should work on reds as well.

If your PA area is anything like my SE NY area try swampy areas adjacent to small stands of woods.
grizz-n-grey works for me just fine, also try red fox pups.

Look for fox scat. It's distinctively different from other predators, and where there's a lot of greys, there's a lot of scat.

Call in the thick cover for grey's..........if a rabbit can live there, thats the place to search them out! Open farm land will have the red's!
