Grey fox in the neighborhood

I walked out to move my trailer off the street and there were two greys sitting in the neighbors driveway. First time I've seen them on the street, coyotes and javelina but the first time for fox. They just sat and watched me until I heade their way.

We have a few grey that live in the brushy creek bottom behind my house. They keep a pretty low profile because of the relatively high population of coyotes.
 
I live in Lc as well and have seen fox in my neighborhood multiple times. One morning I was on a walk before the sun came up and I heard one barking and I look down the street and he was walking the street doing the weird fox bark that they do and then he disappeared into somebody backyard. The desert is my backyard but I figured the coyotes would tear those fox up but maybe they just live in the neighborhood or near the school.
