Old dog I have some contacts to shoot Dorris but have not gone yet.

The last couple of years I have been hard with Deaths in the family.

But we seem to be back in action now.

Goin up to Cedarville for the Squirrel Roundup.

Shoot me an E-mail Roger@Dingos.Net

And I can send you a copy of the reservation form.

I am just down the road from you in CastroValley and may have room in the truck if interested.

Roundup is the weekend of March 24
Will probably leave on Friday morning.

Maybe we can get together for a beer or something before.

Oldog,
I used to shoot rats over there several times a year. Haven't been for two years now.
We had a guy with a bunch of alfalfa ranches that gave us access. Then he sold out so we had to knock on doors. But its no problem. Just about anywhere with alfalfa and squirrels will let you shoot.
There's lots of ground around Dorris and Macdoel.
One outfitt, Prather Ranches in Macdoel has always been a good place to shoot. They have a sign in sheet and a guy around there who kind of keeps track of the shooters on any given day. Right on highway 97 just north of Doris theres a place called stagecoach pass with ground on both sides of the highway thats been some good shooting.
Since I live in oregon, we went to Malin last year to shoot. There was a big ol field right next to a landfill/transfer station, we asked the guy in the booth there aboout shooting and he said have at it.
Its time to start thinking about it again. We've had some fun times over there in February and early March with just a skiff of snow and a sunny day.
Since you live so far away, you should wait till march or early april to insure the weather cooperates. But don't wait too long, when the alfalfa gets up a few inches high its hard to see the little beggers. You just have to drive around and find the squirrels some fields will have them some years then none the next. Have fun AO
