Gulls in Wyoming

is it illegal to throw alkaselcer in the air?
never can tell where it might land and sometimes it doesn't.

When ocean fishing we would sometimes get mobbed by them. Bad news when we were fly-linning anchovies. But what a sight to see about a half dozen gulls being flown like a kite on the end of fishing lines. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
 
Somebody posted that gulls are protected under federal law. Wow, I've been looking over my shoulder for two weeks now. I can't sleep. Do you think I should just turn myself in and get it over with? Since I am basically a good guy, with no previous record, other than speeding tickets, maybe George W. would commute my sentence.
 
No worries,lots of people turn themselves in for things they didn't do. Usually they get a free state sponsored psychiatric exam and stop smoking/diet retreat for a couple of weeks. The sane ones get a state competency certificate. Come out of it with a better understanding of gubmint health care like hillery wants for us all. Others are just story tellers, like ward churchill. Normally no one gets jailed for telling tall tales, but you can get tenure and a pay raise for it sometimes at certain unibersities. Harry
 
Maybe they would put me up in one of those "white collar resort prisons". Wonder if I could take a Cooper or two, maybe even a Bushmaster when I go.

CORPUS DELICTI - The body of the offence; the essence of the crime.

It was a general rule not to convict unless the corpus delicti can be established, that is, until the dead body has been found. Instances have occurred of a person being convicted of having killed another, who, after the supposed criminal has been put to death for the supposed offence, has made his appearance - alive. The wisdom of the rule is apparent; but in order to insure justice, in extreme cases, it may be competent to prove the basis of the corpus delicti by presumptive, but conclusive, evidence.
