Gun cleaning. (Time to get Serious)

I use bore guides with a carbon fiber rod. I also use nickel plated jags because the brass ones will give false readings. I like nylon brushes and I also use boretech cu+2 solvent. It is a great product

More difference of opinions from the pros than the PM members... LOL

but I guess that's part of their game since they shoot for $, trophies, and/or magazine accolades....

I'll consider getting a bore guide.
 
Sinclair bore guides, Dewey rod ,nylon brush and bore snake work well for me. I just use Hoppes Benchrest copper solvent to remove powder fouling and occasionally let the copper solvent sit overnight.

Before anyone flames me about the bore snake, I'm paranoid ever since getting a patch stuck in my M4 barrel. The snake is easily washed and seems to fit as tight as a patch.
