Gun rack for UTV?

Anyone know of a gun rack that will mount on the expanded metal behind the cab of a UTV, and will hold an AR with a 2" diameter front tube ( Predator pursuit)? I've looked online at the G-Lox rubber coated steel 2 gun racks, they would work as far as mounting goes, but I can't find any specs on the max width capacity.

Can't speak for the G-Lox you're asking about but I know how to not install one. My old man had the screen installed on his Gator (rendering it useless if you need to haul any lengthy material) so I could install him a gun rack. We ended up using a rear window truck rack he had in the shed, cut them in half, and bolted two hangers to the screen. Myself, I would not have gone this route. Not only is the screen a major pain, whatever firearm being stored in the rack smacks me in the back of the head while riding. I was pushing for either a Big Sky rack, or the vertical mount. Both appear to be faster and more user friendly when trying to retrieve your firearm. Lot's of things to consider, especially if you use your UTV a lot when hunting. Good luck!

I just leave my gun in the case and put the case in the back
of the mule.

Neighbors went and got a 3' length of 1/2" wide steel, cut it,
bent it and made their own. They then covered it with some
kind of rubber. Rubber hose maybe. Looks good and it must
work good as they always have a gun on it.

Thanks for the replies so far. AS far as smacking my head against the guns, I plan to mount it on the bed side, not the cab side.
Making my own is an option, I'm thinking that over right now.
But since I first posted this question I have found a couple of cloth cases that attach via straps and completely encase the guns. They cost less that $100.00 and seem to offer some limited protection from rain/mud, etc. I'm still thinking...

I've strapped my midwayusa to the screen a few times also.
It worked fairly well but I still found it easier just to
put the case in the back of the mule. Either way, it catches
some good bumps and bounces.
